Easy Puff Pastry Snacks


Banana Tart:

Line a 10" ( 23cm ) round pie dish with thinly sliced banana's just over lapping each piece.
sprinkle with brown sugar and melted butter.
Top with 11" (24cm ) round of pastry. Bake for 15 minutes in a hot oven,then stand for 10 minutes to cool before turning on to plate..


Roasted Pear Tart:

Cut a pastry sheet in half, brush with egg wash. Place 3 well drain canned pear halves on each sheet to fit, brush with melted butter to cover all and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake in a moderate hot oven for about 20 minutes

Chocolate and Marmalade Croissants:

Cut pastry sheet into four triangles, brush each with warmed marmalade.
Sprinkle generously with grated white chocolate. Then roll up the triangle to enclose the filling,then bend the ends to make a halve moon shape. Bake in a hot oven for about 12 minutes:

Bacon and Tomato Wheels:

Brush a pastry sheet with sun dried tomato pesto and then top with a mixture of finely chopped bacon, sliced green onions and grated parmesan cheese. Next roll pastry sheet up tightly to keep filling enclosed. cut into bite size slices and bake in a hot oven for about 10 minutes.

moderate to hot oven 400f (200c) hot oven 425- 450 ( 220 )
