Australia's Favorite Dessert

Pavlova


Oven tray greased and dusted with 1/2 teaspoon of cornflour.
Pre heat oven to 110c or 210 f a cool oven.

4 egg whites (60g) or (2oz)
1 cup (250g) caster sugar
1 tablespoon (10g) cornflour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons vinegar
1 cup of cream (250ml) 8 0z , whipped
1 banana (125g) 4 oz, sliced
1/4 cup pineapple pieces
1 passionfruit
1 kiwi fruit (80g) sliced

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually and continue to beat mixture until its stiff.
Fold in cornflour and add vanilla and vinegar.
Pile on to oven tray and bake at 110 c (210 f) for 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours , until firm , without allowing pavlova to colour.
COOL on tray.
Place pavlova on serving tray and spread on top with the whipped cream. Then cover with the fruit ....
If you like leave off fruit and use mint chocolate chip shavings over top....
