Cheap Carpet steam cleaning trick

Ingredients
1 cup of white vinegar (for a start but will need more)
1teaspoon of white vinegar ( for testing carpet)
Enough hot water to fill steam cleaner 
A sponge or cloth

Ok ready.First off get your vacuum cleaner and steam cleaner out , or hire one from local supplier ( supermarket)
Vacuum your carpet thoroughly before using the steam cleaner.( but not by wearing yourself out to much)

Mix 1 tbsp. of white vinegar in 1 cup of hot water 
"Test your carpet for Color fastness".. Use a clean sponge or cloth to apply the solution to a hidden area of your carpet to see if ok. (good ,now lets get started)


Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the  tank of the steam cleaner. Add very hot water until the water reaches the "fill" line.

  • Start up  the steam cleaner and move over the carpet slowly to allow the hot water and vinegar enough time to clean. Empty the tank when it becomes full of dirty water, refill  the steam cleaner tank again with same amount of mixture and continue till you finish room or house.
    OK all done,grab your self a can and sit back and pat yourself on your back and " Now let your Carpet dry before walking on it "
